I guess I'm just like any other person - I am afraid of pain and I do not believe in the saying "No Pain, No Gain." I have low tolerance to pain and I am afraid of surgery. But I do want to lose weight and I have tried a lot of ways to lose the extra pounds I have gained over the years. Working a 9 to 5 desk job certainly has its disadvantages, especially when it comes to your body.
I have tried different diets and have willingly subjected myself to eating every low-tasting meal and vegetables I've never heard before. I drank powdered drinks that promised loss of appetite and of course, weight loss but to no avail. I then decided it is time to get up and get moving with a healthy lifestyle.
I bought DVDs of every exercise guru out there, and I busted my butt with the exercise routines and got myself into positions I never thought was possible - but all I got was a sore, aching body and I still weighed and measured as much as I did before. I even went ahead and bought exercise equipment and outfits just to get myself motivated - but they are now all collecting dust in my attic.
I decided to sit down (again!) in front of my PC and search for a way to lose the fat around my stomach and thighs. I have a pear shaped body, and most of my weight is on my stomach and my hips. I also wanted to find a way to lose weight the easy way - and I'm not afraid to admit it. Years of trying can really put a toll on you.
I came across a review of someone who had Smart Lipo done. I've heard of liposuction before, but I am afraid to undergo it because I'm afraid of needles and I do not want any invasive procedures done on me. The process actually involves lasers and the anesthesia is the only needle involved.
So there what the heck - I gave it a try. After the doctor walked me through the procedure and showed me what was to be done, I just had to say yes. I am not going to sugarcoat things - don't expect the procedure to be all smooth and easy. You will feel tingling sensations and get uncomfortable every now and then - but they go away quickly. The anesthesia was really the hardest part.
Two months later, I find myself in tighter shirts, tighter jeans, and tighter everything. When people around me compliment about how good I look, I know for a fact that Smart Lipo is truly the way to go.
